Difference Maker

Recently my family got to spend some time together for Spring Break.  We did some fun things out of town, watched some movies, ate fun food, and relaxed a good bit. We had such a good time!

Vacations for me are a good way to retune my mind.  I get to relax a bit, take my mind off of work, and it refocuses me to be more appreciative for everything that is part of my life.

But when I got back to work this week it seemed not everyone must have taken a vacation and reset their mind like I did.  I noticed that many folks were grumpy… they were being short with each other in meetings, and were not being too “nice” to each other at all.

I noticed some bad attitudes.

Whether you went on vacation recently or not, what is the difference maker for a Real Christian Businessman?

Our attitude.

Our attitude must stay positive in our work situations because it is one of the few examples we have to show others our faith.  Even if we are having to do a task that we don’t want to do, or sit in a 4 hour meeting that we know will be unproductive, the way we approach it will affect all of those around us who are doing the same thing.

“Do everything without grumbling or arguing.” Phil 2:14 CSB

We are the example God has placed in our workplace to show others his love by how we act around everyone else.

What type of attitude will you have this week at your workplace?

One of grumbling and complaining or one that shows contentment and joy?

People are watching us, so let’s choose wisely!
