Be
Lots of things are swirling around in the world today.
Inflation, wars, Political decisions, the Pandemic – the state of our world can seem scary and difficult to navigate.
Just going to work can be a welcomed change from it all, getting a chance to just do our job and move the ball forward for the company or our business.
But then we bump into co-workers or customers that just want to spout off about what is going on in their life or in the world today. They are not concerned about what you think about what they are saying, they are just are just ready to tell you all about how they think or what is going on in their life that is bringing them down. This happens today as much as it has happened to me all my career.
Yet a Real Christian Businessman realizes that sometimes having an opinion and expressing it doesn’t always need to happen by us. Sometimes we just need to “be” and listen while in the presence of others in order for Christ to be represented.
Be – able to show up for what we need to show up for.
Be – open to learning about new ideas and methods at our workplace.
Be – open to listening to our co-workers and customers opinions.
Be – a phone call away when someone is in need.
When you go to work this week remember that we don’t always have to give our opinion to others regarding what is going on in our lives or the world. Many times we just need to “be” there for others with love, and God will do the rest.
