Prosperity
I got stuck on something at work this week. It happens from time to time, but usually I can overcome it by doing a little research into it or looking through our knowledge base for the answer etc.
But this time I couldn’t find the answer.
And it was frustrating me.
So I reached out to our area manager who has been through some of these same situations a time or two more than I. She not only knew the answer to get me out of the hole I was in, but gave me some good advice as to how to approach this situation when it comes up again. How helpful she was to me on this!
Many times at work I feel as though I can go it alone. I can figure it out. I can push through. But a Real Christian Businessman knows that God has put resources and people around us that are willing to help when we get stuck on something if we will only ask. This doesn’t mean let someone else do your job and never try to push through tough tasks, but knowing that God has surrounded you with other competent, like minded folks (and this one happened to be a believer too!) is what we take for granted all the time.

This person was being generous to me by helping me get out of a situation that I was having a tough time with. She is going to prosper! But many times we are too hard headed to ask for help when we need it, or we are too lazy to try and figure things out when the going gets a little rough.
Take a moment this week to thank someone who has helped you recently. We all need a little positive encouragement in life!
