Walk The Right Way

I get tired of it.

I get tired of always being nice to everyone even when they go behind my back at the office and take credit for the work that I did.

I get tired of people saying they are going to do something to my face then when they are away from me doing something completely different.

I get tired of consistently showing up to my workplace on time, contributing to the meetings because I came prepared, and then watching the slackers who never prepare anything and show up late get promoted.

I really want to say something ugly to them.  

I really want to lash out at them when these things happen.

And sometimes I do!  Yes sometimes I get cynical with my co-workers and say snide comments about them when I know I should not be saying anything.  Sometimes I slack off. Many times I meet my needs first above everyone else’s.

But as a Real Christian Businessman I have a helper  that can assist me in acting the right way. A helper that can protect me from all of the influences that are swirling around me and pushing me to go in the wrong direction.  And I have used Him many many times. Because you know what? When I don’t, things don’t go well at all.

When I walk by the Spirit, letting the Holy Spirit guide me, He helps me in ways I can’t even explain.  Even helping me fend off other desires that I haven’t even mentioned here.  

So take this verse, and write it down somewhere.  Text it to yourself. Set a recurring reminder for 7:35 a.m everyday so that you see it on a regular basis.

To make sure that you walk the right way… Everyday.  

It helps.  It really does.
