Think About It

After having some extended time off – enjoying Christmas, visiting family, having vacation fun – this week it will be time for many of us to head back to work.

As we begin 2018, I’m not going to ask you to read your bible every day, or set goals and write them down, or make a bunch of promises to yourself that Satan will end up using against you when you end up breaking them in the second week of January.

What I AM going to ask you to do though, is take a moment, even for just a minute, to reflect on what you may have learned in 2017 so you can apply it to 2018.

You see, A Real Christian Businessman uses what he has learned from the past, both successes and failures, and applies it to his life so that he not only builds on the achievements but also doesn’t make the same mistakes again.  He doesn’t dwell on the mistakes that have been made, but uses both the positive and negative experiences to propel himself into the future with an even better perspective on his life.

“As a dog returns to its vomit, so also a fool repeats his foolishness.” Prov 26:11 CSB

Take a moment now to look back at 2017, and try to not repeat any foolishness in 2018.

Satan wants you to dwell on the mistakes.

And think that you can’t do any better.

But I’m’ telling you – and God’s telling you – you CAN do better.

Especially if you use the knowledge gained and apply it going forward.

Think about it.
