The Confidence Trick

Do you know where the most powerful source of confidence comes from?

Do you think it comes from accomplishing things?

Believing in yourself?

Taking action?

Yes, those things are definitely very helpful.  But they really don’t completely do it.

 

You’d think confidence comes from believing in yourself or your accomplishments.

But really confidence comes from HAVING CLOSE PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS with people who believe in you.

A Real Christian Businessman knows that God designed us this way from the beginning (see Adam and Eve from the book of Genesis).  He created us and gave us the choice to be in relationship with HIM.  We can choose to walk away from Him, or walk towards Him.  Imagine what confidence you would have, if you were not only in relationship with God, but also with others that believe in you!

So if you just focus on building close personal relationships with people who believe in you and continue to cultivate and know that God is right there cheering for you, then you’ll have all the confidence you need to take action.

That’s the trick.
